Lichen striatus is a transient linear eruption, i.e. common in children, which follows lines of Blaschko. It has a self limited course with duration varying from a few weeks to 2-3 years, relapses can occur. There is a chance of post inflammatory hypopigmentation. It can be treated with mild topical steroids ; in case of itching, otherwise can be no treatment required.
